Helix Studios newsletters were often reposted on social networks such as tumblr and made the most out of vertical scroll space.
Varying styles of email newsletters experimented with for the Texture clothing line. Existing brand characteristics were incorporated such as circles, dotted lines, and fabric related items like ribbon and buttons. The clothing line is fun, comfy, organic and hand-made. It is sold online, at festivals and conventions, in boutiques and one flagship shop run by the owner where clothes are sewn together right downstairs.
This first batch of mockups used patterns and bright colors for a fun, modern look but ultimately were ruled out as being a little too digital and clean to fit the brand's bohemian hand-made roots. For a time after this each newsletter was created by arranging and photographing physical assets such as actual fabric samples used for the clothing.
